Recently, Karot Hydropower Project successfully organized a community Open Day at site to celebrate the 4th Anniversary of the project's Commercial Operation Date (COD). The event welcomed families from project-affected areas, local community representatives, and children, providing an opportunity to strengthen community engagement and celebrate the project's achievements together.
The event commenced with welcome remarks from Mr. Zhou Qiang, CEO of CSAIL, and Mr. Liu Yonggang, ACEO, who expressed their sincere gratitude to the local communities for their continuous support and cooperation. They highlighted the importance of maintaining strong partnerships with local stakeholders and reaffirmed the company's commitment to?community engagement?and sustainable development.
During the event, representatives of the local community appreciated the company's efforts in improving local livelihoods, supporting community development, and strengthening relations with surrounding communities.?A special highlight of the celebration was the participation of local children, who presented drawings depicting the Karot HPP?and its positive impact on their communities. The celebration continued with group photographs, interactive games, and recreational activities involving CSAIL management, community members, and the children.
The event concluded with lunch offering local delights and a guided site tour, allowing visitors to gain firsthand knowledge of the project's operations, achievements, and contributions to the region.
